CLINICAL USE

The MRI Compatible Suction Regulators were developed in response to safety concerns in the MRI suite. Additionally, increased utilization of MRI during interventional procedures has expanded the need for anesthesia related equipment that is compatible with the MRI System.

DESCRIPTION

Our line of MRI Compatible Suction Regulators is another expansion of the 3700 Series family of regulators. These new suction regulators are classified as both "MRI Safe" and "MRI Compatible" and they retain all of the features that allow us to offer an unsurpassed 10 Year Warranty.

Their non-ferromagnetic construction provides an MRI Safe product that will not be drawn to the powerful magnet of the MRI machine regardless of location within the MRI suite.

These regulators were tested for MRI compatibility in the mouth of the bore of a 1.5-Tesla MRI machine, both at the point of maximum magnetic field strength (15,040 gauss) and at the point of maximum magnetic field gradient (836 gauss/in).

The MRI Compatible Suction Regulators to produce no voids or artifacts on MRI images, therefore their operation and/or presence causes no interference with the imaging procedures or images. A detailed report (3708.019) is on file at Boehringer Laboratories and is available through your Boehringer sales representative.

Additionally, all of the benefits and design features of our 3700 series hold true for our MRI Compatible Suction Regulators therefore providing the accuracy, durability and outstanding performance that our customers expect from a Boehringer suction regulator.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

WE GUARANTEE THE 3700 SERIES SUCTION REGULATOR PARTS AND LABOR FOR TEN YEARS. WE WILL REPLACE FREE OF CHARGE ANY PART THAT FAILS ON OUR 3700 SERIES SUCTION REGULATOR FOR TEN YEARS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE.
