PEDIATRIC
SUCTION REGULATOR |
|
CLINICAL USE The Pediatric Series suction regulators are specially designed to meet the unique clinical needs of pediatric patients, Neonatal Intensive Care, Labor/Delivery and other environments where a low level of suction is required. Continuous models, 3710 and 3711, are designed for use in the Recovery & Intensive Care Units and patient bedside. Model 3714 is designed to provide
intermittent suction for nasogastric procedures as well as constant suction
for tracheal suction. DESCRIPTION Our line of Pediatric Suction Regulators is a new addition to the 3700 Series family of regulators. Large, straight through ports allow maximum flow, with minimum "droop", while providing for simple field cleaning and maintenance procedures without special tools. Infection control committees have enthusiastically welcomed our regulators, which are capable of being disinfected by, gas, autoclave, Cidex, pasteurization or Sterrad. The virtually all-metal construction assures maximum wear and corrosion resistance. Our patented gauge is brightly colored and can be read from a 180° field of view. The lightweight construction and compact size make it ideal for crowded installations. Wear and repair of the switching mechanism are eliminated by the use of an ingenious, patented magnetic switching mechanism unique to the Boehringer product. The patented gauge contains
only 3 moving parts and can be assembled/ disassembled in less than a
minute. With fewer parts, reliability increases and cost of operation
decreases. Its rugged design virtually eliminates the need for calibration
and repair. Our regulators are extremely tolerant of flooding and can
be flushed should this occur. FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS
