Dear Customer,
The exciting news this year is the new Platinum Line, which features a 12 year warranty on a self cleaning regulator line available exclusively through our factory, authorized expert dealers and independent representatives.
First, I want to express my appreciation to each of you who keep us in business with your enthusiasm for our quality and service. We continue to ship virtually every order within 24 hours, most same day shipment before close of business if we hear from you by 4:00 PM EDT.
Our quality record continues to be highlighted by our 0.05% warranty cost across all products.
Many Bioengineers and Nurses have convinced their Hospital Administrators that the additional investment in Boehringer™ Regulators is essentially “free.” This investment is paid for in two years out of the savings in repair costs. How many “cheap” regulators end up in the repair cue waiting for “Fix or Discard.” Many of our customers are now using their repair budgets to gradually replace their “cheap” regulators with Boehringer™ durability and quality.
The CASS regulator is a product of our development group and has already participated in a large clinical study at DEBORAH® Heart and Lung Center, Brown Mills, NJ where the incidence of VAP (Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia) has been dramatically reduced. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has identified VAP as one of its top 50 disease entities. We enjoy our role in saving lives.
Our wound care efforts have resulted in a new company: Boehringer Wound Systems, LLC that will now engineer, manufacture, and sell the Autovac™ line of auto transfusion and wound drainage devices. You may see their website at www.boehringerwound.com.
Our sales department is organized into 5 regions with Regional Managers who are there to serve you with a group of expert factory authorized exclusive representatives to see that your every need is quickly served.
The specialty needs that you, the customer, have identified, combined with our engineering skills, have given us the broadest line of specialty regulators, including MRI, CASS, high sensitivity Pediatric, Ventricular Vacuum Control, and now the NEW Self Cleaning Regulators.
Our policy of reinvestment in new development has resulted in over 55 patents issued and a number in process at this very moment. We reinvest a higher percentage of sales on new product development than any company that I know of in the industry.
One of my great joys in life is to work with the people who are Boehringer Laboratories, many of them with long seniority and all of whom are dedicated to improving our contribution to your healthcare mission.
