Description
The Autovac TC™ is a totally closed, postoperative system for orthopedic autotransfusion. It incorporates the patented Autowick for the effective removal of methyl methacrylate and insoluble fats from the collected blood. This truly continuous system simplifies the steps for collection, infusion, and closed wound drainage.
Research has proven that free lipids are present in significant quantities in orthopedic drainage blood and only the Autovac TC™ contains the Autowick™ for the permanent removal of these free lipids.
Features & Specifications
- Available with 1/8", 3/16"and 1/4" wound drains.
- The system provides its own suction source or, as an option can be connected directly to wall suction.
- Precise built in regulation for direct attachment to wall vacuum - no regulator needed.
