ASST. PRODUCT MANAGER

Innovative, fast-paced, medical device manufacturer seeks well rounded individual that is prepared to learn all aspects of medical device product lifecycle management. The technical and clinical nature of our business favors someone with an engineering appreciation for the instruments we design and produce.

 

Day to day duties would include:

• Being a technical point of contact for clinical and field sales representatives on the existing products.

• Identifying and communicating new construction opportunities within the sales organization.

• Routine, product oriented website maintenance.

• Routine email communications with sales force and hospital engineers.

• Value proposals and final report creations to assist the sales process.

• Updating and refreshing product sales literature to highlight technical and clinical merits.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the ground and close with the wants and desires of the end customer and can understand and appreciate the big picture and intricacies of medical device product development. This person must have the ability to relate to the product development engineers and a grasp of the technical details driving the product. This position would refer to the Marketing Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  

- B.S. in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND  

- Clinical Background (EMT, RN, RRT, etc.) or Medical Field Sales Experience

- Minor in Business or Marketing / Credits completed towards an advanced business degree.

 

SKILLS  

• Skilled MS Excel User

• Basic understanding of HTML coding

• Excellent organization and planning skills

• Excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills

• Familiar with analytical survey techniques

• Ability to read and understand contemporary clinical research

• Familiarization with modern business and communication tools
