Director of Medical Device Innovation

Essential duties include but are not limited to identifying new product development opportunities and interacting with medical professionals or hospital personal to find unmet clinical needs. Our Medical Device Product Innovation Manager must have an understanding of basic engineering principals and product mechanisms. You will provide clinical support to our sales team and perform primary and secondary market research for continued investment into new products.

This is a high visibility role at Boehringer Laboratories as you will be developing and maintaining relationships with the competent clinicians that add input into current and future marketing concepts.

Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative is trained to complete all essential duties of the Data Entry Clerk. In addition, the Customer Service position will have additional training in QAD, the Company Products, Price Control, Office Management, and Procurement policies.

The Customer Service Representative will also be responsible for complex sales order entry, assisting customers, staying up-to-date in QAD processes for pricing, commissions and shipping. The Customer Service Representative will also provide feedback to the manager regarding sales order issues and customer concerns.

Engineering Intern

Interns are hired on a rolling basis to help with a large variety of projects in the engineering department. Common tasks include product design, prototyping, testing, literature and market research, needs finding and quality and regulatory activities.

Placements are full-time and generally six months, but the duration can be adjusted to fit between terms for the right candidate. The ideal candidate is pursing a degree in biomedical or mechanical engineering and would have a background in as many of the following as possible:

  • Machining

  • Test Engineering

  • Engineering Change

  • Medical Devices

  • Scientific and Medical Literature Research

  • CAD

  • FDA Regulations and Compliance

  • Quality Engineering

  • cGMP

Technical Director, New Product Development

Do you have the drive to create medical devices that improve the lives of patients and clinicians?

The Technical Director, New Product Development is a high visibility contributor within our fast growing medical device company. You will play a critical role in driving new product ideation, research, definition, prioritization, and development to strengthen our product portfolio.

You will also have an opportunity to combine a deep understanding of core capabilities with detailed new product research on market, customer, and competitive trends to identify, validate and quantify exciting opportunities for our business' continued growth.
